TEMPEST’s Hanbin Makes Solo Debut With Digital Single "No Fear"

TEMPEST's Hanbin, the first K-pop idol from Vietnam, debuted solo with 'No Fear' on August 24, 2026. After four years with the group, Hanbin stepped out with a fresh image and personal touch.

'No Fear' is an empowering message about trusting your potential and pursuing your unique path. The single includes 'No Fear (Feat. punchnello)' and 'Air,' an upbeat EDM track. Hanbin wrote both songs, adding a personal touch to his solo project. Rapper punchnello contributed to the lyrics and featured on the title track.

Hanbin was deeply involved in every aspect of the album, from music and choreography to marketing and styling. This hands-on approach allowed him to explore his artistic identity more fully. He felt a mix of pressure and excitement stepping into a solo career but found immense satisfaction in presenting his strengths.

The collaboration with punchnello was a dream come true for Hanbin. He praised punchnello's contribution and described the partnership as a fortunate encounter. 'Air' offers a fun, positive atmosphere perfect for festivals or events. Hanbin hopes this song will bring joy to fans, even those unfamiliar with him.

Hanbin's inspiration comes from his life experiences, especially his mother's notes on his fearless nature. His love for performing and bold choices, like moving to South Korea, reflect that spirit. His parents expressed pride and admiration, especially considering the challenges of starting anew in a foreign country. His father's free-spirited nature greatly influenced Hanbin.

Reflecting on his past experiences in survival programs, Hanbin credits those competitive moments for shaping his current self. He maintained a mindset of giving his best without fear of failure, which helped him grow steadily over four years before finally debuting.

With 'No Fear,' Hanbin aims to share his positive energy and inspire fans to make courageous choices. This solo debut marks a significant milestone in his career, presenting a more personal and confident side of the artist.

Fans and observers look forward to seeing how Hanbin continues to evolve as a solo artist and explore new directions.
