"The Remarried Empress" to Premiere at BIFF

Disney+ series "The Remarried Empress" will premiere at the 31st Busan International Film Festival (BIFF).

BIFF announced its "On Screen" selections on August 25, featuring "The Remarried Empress," "Dead-End Job," and "Blue Road" episodes. The "On Screen" section highlights new series, giving audiences a chance to see them on the big screen before streaming.

"The Remarried Empress" is particularly notable, based on a popular web novel and webtoon. It stars Shin Min Ah, Ju Ji Hoon, Lee Jong Suk, and Lee Se Young.

"Dead-End Job" and "Blue Road" from Netflix will also premiere. "Dead-End Job" combines mystery with a unique part-time job setting. "Blue Road," directed by Han Jun Hee, stars Son Suk Ku, Eita Nagayama, and Kim Shin Rok, focusing on an international murder investigation.

The 31st BIFF runs from October 6 to 15, with the opening film being "Day and Night Are Different From Each Other" by director Kim Jong Kwan.
