aespa and KATSEYE U.S. Ticket Sales Show Demand Divide

Group aespa and KATSEYE are touring North America concurrently, and ticket data reveals a clear gap. aespa has double-digit percentage seat openings with tickets starting at $49.50, whereas KATSEYE nears sellouts at the same venues with starting prices over eight times higher.
On the afternoon of the 3rd, K-POPIT checked Ticketmaster availability for Los Angeles, Belmont Park, and Atlanta. In Belmont Park and Atlanta, both groups play the exact same venues.
KATSEYE’s average starting price was $454, about five times aespa’s $94 average. Yet aespa had roughly four times more empty seats, averaging 8.5% unsold compared to KATSEYE’s 2.2%.

The gap is widest in New York. aespa’s UBS Arena show on the 18th has 2,127 unsold seats (14.2%) starting at $49.50. KATSEYE plays the same arena on the 24th and 25th with starting prices of $416, leaving only 562 seats (3.7%) for night one and 551 seats (3.7%) for night two.
Atlanta and Los Angeles look similar. aespa’s Atlanta show on the 24th starts at $140.50 with 955 seats (6.3%) left, while KATSEYE’s October 15 show starts at $421 with 246 unsold seats (1.6%).

In Los Angeles, aespa plays the Intuit Dome on October 3 with 689 unsold seats (4.9%) and tickets starting at $92. KATSEYE plays Crypto.com Arena on November 21 and 22, leaving 122 seats (0.8%) for night one and 130 seats (0.9%) for night two, with starting prices of $510 and $506.
aespa’s numbers are solid on their own, as clearing 70% is considered standard for a U.S. arena run. However, compared to KATSEYE, KATSEYE’s localization-first strategy pulls ahead on U.S. floors.
